In this course, we will take you through step-by-step actionable techniques for you to master client results and gain pain-free, functional shoulder movement. You will learn a comprehensive exercise and restorative training program for the shoulders. We take an in-depth look at anatomy and biomechanics, compensations, contraindications, assessments, pathology, and structural deviations and we teach you how to successfully design a shoulder stability program that will meet your clients’ specific needs.
Objectives
This course will provide you, the professional, with a step-by-step program to help your clients achieve strong, functional, and mobile shoulders no matter their current shoulder state. You will learn:
- the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder
- the art of teaching shoulder dissociation
- the importance of free movement of the shoulder joint and how to teach this
- about specific shoulder injuries and dysfunction
- the results of our extensive EMG shoulder testing
- the biomechanics of scapula compensation versus an effective scapula glide.
- the brand-new shoulder mobility post injury protocol
- the importance of a strong focus on client mind-set and personality in the program
- the assessment of loaded scapula glide and shoulder mobility using specific exercises
