Course Overview:

The fundamentals of safe sacroiliac joint training are addressed in this course. We look at the all the factors that cause SIJ instability, the anatomy involved as well as the various changes that can occur in the SIJ when it is irritated. What movements should the SIJ be able to do, how much range of movement should it have and most importantly, understanding the anatomy in relation to movement on a client specific level. Learn a comprehensive SIJ exercise program that incorporates slings as well as modified hip stability exercises that are ideal to assist a sensitive SIJ.

Aim of the course:

This course enables the Movement Professional to teach an effective SIJ program that will encourage better alignment and functional strength within the SIJ. The professional will also learn all precautionary measures as well as what to avoid with an irritated SIJ. After completing this course, the professional will also have a deeper understanding of safe training for the SIJ as well as a full exercise program that can be used for their clients.
