Learning Path

In this course we discuss spinal fusions, disc protrusions, spondylolisthesis and we look at an exercise program that will enable your clients to strengthen their backs without exacerbating their condition. Spinal movement, rehabilitation & spinal pathology start to make perfect sense as you learn how to apply the theoretical knowledge to movement. This course eliminates all generic spinal programs and enables you to design a back strengthening program that will encourage functional back mobility and strength.

Overview

This course was designed to help you, the professional, improve your knowledge to comfortably assist you clients to strengthen their back safely. We cover both theory and practical aspects of safe spinal training. Apply what you have learned without hesitation.

You will learn:

  • the anatomy and biomechanics of the spine
  • the importance of spinal isolation and relative mobility
  • spinal ranges of motion
  • how neutral spine is not the same on everyone and why
  • how spines may respond differently to the same exercise and why
