Overview

Learn the anatomy and chain reactions of the pelvis, hips and spine. In this course we teach you the chain reactions that occur within the lumbo-pelvic area with regards to altered spinal and pelvic positions.

Objectives

This course is to help you develop insight into the muscles of the pelvis, hip, and spine to help you assess these areas during exercise and movement. You will learn:

  • relevant anatomical terminology
  • the musculoskeletal system of the spine, hip and pelvis
  • agonists, antagonists, and synergists in the lumbo-pelvic area
  • the biomechanical chain reactions of the lumbo-pelvic
